The silver stems are in the form of stylized dolphins, the scales of which are exquisitely engraved, and the tail fin holds a shell that serves as a base for a glass bowl. The legs rest on three twisted branches decorated with leaves, emphasizing the sophistication of the form and composition. The items bear the hallmarks of the St. Petersburg Assay Office, the 84th assay mark corresponding to the last quarter of the 19th century, the coat of arms of St. Petersburg, and the full maker`s mark - the Cyrillic inscription Grachev Brothers with a double-headed eagle.
